About Us

Designed with busy lifestyles in mind, the team at Backpalate Flavour House have created a range of pantry flavour ingredients to complement seasonal fresh produce and allow all cooks to create delicious home cooked meals.

This creative hub was founded by Christine Allen in 2008 as an opportunity to create flavour specialty products for small - medium size food manufacturers, a creative role she has enjoyed in industrial flavour houses for the past 20 years. 

As her family grew, so did the interest in creating convenient recipe ingredients for busy and active families.
